The Brook, Southampton | EP Launch Show
Chris will be bringing 'The Parade' to The Brook in Southampton Thursday November 12th for a special evening to celebrate the launch of his debut EP 'The Wait' (out November 13th). Attendee's will have the chance to buy a copy of the EP on the night (or with their ticket as a package deal) as well as hearing it in its entirety live!
SOLO SHOWS
Chris has been making a living out of playing solo shows all over the UK since he was very young, the stage is where he feels most natural and at home. Even if it's just him and an acoustic guitar (plus an impressive array of foot-pedals to "magnify the impact of sound"), his originality comes through in its truest form and he has gained a notorious reputation as a "must-see" performer. Catch him at one of these intimate shows as he bares the bones of his original tracks with a few covers ranging from any one of his influences, whether it be Bowie, Meat Loaf, Queen, Prince, AC/DC, The Prodigy - the list goes on.

THE TWO CHRIS'S
Payn met Jagger whilst playing some shows with acclaimed piano-playing legend Ben Waters out on the island of Nevis (West Indies) in January 2026. What follows is a unique collaboration built around their original music, storytelling and two different generations creating something timeless.
Drawing from Blues, Folk, Rock, Roots, World Music and Country influences, the duo perform original songs written individually and collaboratively, blending their rich acoustic guitar textures and distinctive voices.

'The Two Chris's' are playing a select few shows in the UK over 2026 and have plans to tour internationally in 2026 and 2027, as well as the release of their collaborative efforts with songwriting.

THE SLAX
Chris is also singing, playing guitar and occasionally piano in a new 'supergroup' project featuring Frank Ferrer (ex-Guns N' Roses), Russell Marsden (Band Of Skulls), blues guitar sensation Brett Smith-Daniels (The Villanova's, Walter Trout Band) and monstrous session-bassist Stefan Bielik. Their first run of UK shows in February 2026 has generated a lot of interest all over the world with one of the shows having the BBC in attendance, they are currently making plans for 2027.
